Boku Wa Tomodachi Episode 9

Well like Persona, it was a bit of a disappointment this week for me in Boku Wa as well, though admittedly for different reasons.












The art, the music, I got nothing to say about them except for them being as beautiful as always, arguably one of the best animated shows out there I'd say. Furthermore the music queues well and sounds moving, and fits what occurs in the show. The voice acting is like always top-notch. My complaint is the story's direction.

They hardly addressed Yozora in this episode and how she's feeling. I wanted Kodaka to maybe feel bad about neglecting Yozora but no, everyone acts as if nothing happened. *sigh* In fact the episode was all about Kodaka and Sena AGAIN! I don't want Sena with that much screen time! Where's my Yozora?! When SH*T is on the line, like Kodaka's love, she doesn't lift a finger BUT instead opts out in favor of allowing nature to run it's course... WHAT THE F*CK??? I want misguided emotion to dictate Yozora's actions in the form of a back-stabbing plan in an attempt to aggressively win over Kodaka. Is it too much to ask for, to see a cat fight? Sheesh.

Now, it won't be a problem as long as Yozora sooner than later steps up to the plate and throws Sena out of the picture. Hell, Sena can have Kobato since she's so obsessed with some kind of younger sister complex, or what ever I don't care anymore. Poor Rika too, practically selling her body but Kodaka smoothly blowing her off hahaha. Anywho, the show definitely is building it up. I felt so bad when Yozora knew that Sena and Kodaka would be together and then she was alone in the club with only the perverted Rika(reading mecha-porn probably) and an ever silent Yuki. But while Kodaka DID see Sena's voluptuous nude body(I have never found myself in such a lucky situation except MAYBE sorta kinda once, but it wasn't THAT awesome) I think Yozora is still in the running with her chances not too far gone from the bonding Sena and Kodaka did. But again I feel the emotion we have for Yozora, the show will soon capitalize on it, with Yozora having the kind of moment Chihaya and Taishi just had in Chihayafuru!(wait that's bad because then Kodaka will do what Chihaya did and find that she loves the other person more!)

Boku Wa Tomodachi Episode 8

Well I like where the show is heading. They'll be REALLY touching upon the Kodaka Yozora debacle very soon I feel. Unless they pull a "you expect HUGE character developments but were going to give some crazy scenario or explanation and nothing will have progressed until the last episode". I hope not but I feel that will be the case, because Yozora left early, and instead of it being because she felt neglected by Kodaka it will be because her and Rika were sick. Eh, if they do it well either case will be fine.

Boy do I know how Yozora and Rika felt... Black Friday shopping anyone? Holy Christ it was a cluster F*CK the likes of which I'd only heard about in legend up till now. One cheap DVD took about fifteen minutes in a line to buy, aye yai yai. That's what the pool reminded me of, everyone looks like their having fun but me, and like Sena with my self pretentious attitude on life think "you ignorant sheep, why come when I decide to shop once every 3 months!?" but alas they probably think the same thing. So many PEOPLE!

As for the Yuki and Kodaka thing.... Man if I met a dude that looked like that I'd probably just say holy crap you look like a chick, just so I wouldn't feel awkward, haha he even blushed and I can't really Blame him lol.
























Saddest thing was when Yozora left alone. Why weren't her and Rika at least sitting together? Do they not understand that just because they're fellow club members doesn't mean they can't... I dunno... BE FRIENDS ALSO!? Aren't you usually friends with those you bond and share interests with? It makes no sense! Also on another note, I don't know how old Kobato is, but if she's like 13 or 14 stripping in front of her bro... And MAKING him watch, that's sorta.. I mean that's just f*CKING kinda weird I think, I mean come on, I'd been like "put some freaking clothes on!" but I dunno, it feels like a forced anime fetish thing. Anyway I hope that HUGE character developements will come soon, I'll just have to wait, but at least only a week and not a few months like the manga!

Boku Wa Tomodachi episode 4 AND 5

Well starting with episode 4. The let's introduce all the other characters episode. They did it surprisingly well. All 3 characters were giving a good and proper introduction. Yuki is our trap. Maria is our cute little plot driver who'll have a nice conflict with Kobato. Rika is our new fold to the multi-dimensional love polygon we have forming.

Yuki is friendless because all the other guys see him as a women and aren't comfortable with the homosexual awkwardness they feel creeping in. I've never met anyone like that so I don't understand how uncomfortable it would be too see a SUPER feminine guy, but I don't think I'd abandon them. I dont think I could abandon anyone. So while Yuki thinks he's being bullied he's just being avoided lol.

Maria is a child prodigy and high school teacher though she's only like 10. So while intelligent the little lady is VERY naïve and gullible. In fact the neighbors club's very existence is due to Yozora playing Maria like a fiddle. She's manipulated by potatoe chips! She's a little cutey that's for sure.

Last but certainly not least we got Rika, my personal favorite. This mad scientist has no friends and no sense of shame for that matter. I think I like her alot because in reality I get along most with women that aren't snooty and act non-vulgar when they're just as much a beast as me. She carries a porn that is mecha related for godsakes! Haha. Then she's talking about sex nice and easy, I love it. She would fit in the show SYD(full of sexual innuendoes and jokes) very well! I hope hat show has a second season by the way. I think Rika has a liking to Kodaka too, at least that's what I take from the statement of having sexual intercourse with him(at the very least she finds him handsome)

Then in episode 5 we have the anime ALL READY caught up to the manga! Man they bull rushed right through the show. I think they did it early so no longer do they have to be constricted to the manga's story path and can do its own thing without fans crying like babies since its been faithful THUS far. I'm happy about it because now I don't have to wait to read one chapter of Boku Wa ONCE a month. I am curious where the story will go. I hadn't even thought about it yet. So far one episode has covered like 4 chapters worth while the anime leaves out a few details here and there but thats to be expected to be honest.

I WISH I COULD LIVE IN A GAME TOO SENA! Wouldn't life be so much more cooler?! Cool music to come on when your in a fight or being able to have miracles happen like catch a fist before it hits a girl and then have that girl stalk you with her love LOL! oh well. Now I don't know about everyone else but Kodaka is being a bit neglectful. He needs to spend time with his little sis Kobato because Kodaka is all Kobato has. Not to mention Kobato is a little cutey too, with the mannerisms and gothic lingerie lol.

Now as for the VR gaming they were doing... I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THAT KIND OF INTERACTIVE GAMEPLAY MY WHOLE LIFE! But if it looked like that Large Head brand contraption I wouldn't use it. That thing looked f*ckin dangerous. A beta technology that goes over my brain and flashes radiation in my cornea. BUT if there were girls that dressed as provocative as THAT... I can guarantee I'd be a lab rat for. Rika had her boobies just chill'n in a push-up bra thing and Sena is wearing like two inches of clothing including a G-string and tape around the bust. Yozora is cosplaying it up and happy about it as a rose haha! Women love tights! then most funny of all was Kodaka. The dude was a "wizard" BUT in the otaku and computer nerd sense NOT magical sense LOL! He had like anime posters coming out his back-pack. It cracked me up in the manga and anime. Then Yuki was a bada$s looking samurai. Thats how I'd had liked to look. Maria was well.... a generic sister her apparel hardly changed haha.

As for the Warsubo and their many variations... If those things existed in a sea with teeth like those!? Holy F*ck those things were terrifying looking. I wouldn't be swimming you can bet that much. Oh yea and have we learned nothing from our worlds many mass extinctions and genocides!?!? Those poor warsubo  :(  On a happy note Kabato is joining the club and will protect her bro from Maria lol.

Chibi Devil Episode 2

We pick up seamlessly from where we left off last week. Mao has his milk and Sawada is content too. She even has a close friend. Kyou is a dude that I suppose is a child hood friend. He seems nice enough and its nice to know Sawada isn't completely alone. Kyou also brings his friend Shin who is the COMPLETE oppisite of Sawada, in that he's rough, loud, short tempered, but caring. Shin even sees that Sawada is exceptionally cute and loving when he sees her assuage Mao's cries when Shin upsets Mao. I hope they get a coupling since their contrasting personalities will, like Sato and Amagi's in Persona, make up for the other's short comings. Upon investigation they all discover that Mao is perhaps not wearing accessories but truly has wings and a tail coming out of him.

Mao is also being watched by some other deamon people. Perhaps ensuring Mao is happy by keeping a discrete watch over him? Well Kyou runs off to watch anime(breaking the fourth wall sorta kinda or its ironic that anime characters are going to go watch anime, I dunno) and leaves Shin and Sawada together.  This married like couple pursues Kyou and in the panic and ruckus leaver the door opened. When they come back little Mao is gone. I wonder what Tom foolery our cast of characters will get into next week.

Boku Wa Tomodachi Episode 3

HAHAHAHAHA!! Oh Sena! I find it HILARIOUS that the most "refined" and classy of the individuals is supposed to be Sena yet each episode we find the case to be quite the opposite. Last time she loved the videogame the most this time she is playing erotic videogames I guess. And she can't swim. Playing video. Games alone is very uncharacteristic of a person who is supposed to be a genius in everything she attempts. It's nice though. Sena isn't so caught up she doesn't know who she is. Sena likes to unwind and play video games, AWESOME! She didn't ask to be the daughter of the headmaster of the school after-all. But hentai games? Oh man, Sena is a HUGE pervert, no two ways about it, what's more is that she's not willing to admit it(then again neither am I) so it's especially funny when Yozora makes Sena read that slander out loud. It was a HUGE shout out to the Sacred Blacksmith, I think that's what it is called. That show was ok, and while fan service was VERY apparent I do not remember Lucas sucking off Cecelia's nips like she was a cow... Then again something like that would have caused me to black out so who knows? Also the manga was alot more graphic I clearly remember the manga of Boku Wa showing some actually mouth to nip action(I suppose that's proof I wouldn't black out at such a scene, must've not happened in Blacksmith then lol) but then again manga can get away with a little more I suppose. While mentioning the manga this show is very true to the manga, I love it. Yozora is such a cruel being! But I wouldn't have it any other way. Then Kosaka is just cannon fodder for their rivalries as usual. But then again he did have QUITE the presence at the pool themed part of the show.

AWWWWW! Kodaka's sister is such a cutey. Those dual eye colors are cool, very catchy and the fact that this show is one of my favorite styles of art CERTAINLY helps. I like her little "kukuku" evil vampire laugh. Oh kids! And the fact Kodaka plays along! What a nice brother.

How Kodaka survived face to face with Sena bountiful bust is beyond me. I remember being in almost the EXACT same situation. Lets just say I'm lucky water distorts the view ;). Anywho Sena being the fox she is is inevitably going to be hit on. That is until she acts like a b*tch and makes the men who swoon feel ashamed for even being in the presence of such a princess. Kodaka swooped in like the bada$s I know he is. Put them dudes back in there places. Poor little Sena barking but clearly lacking the ability to bite. Who would dare punching a woman? If I saw that it'd be trouble. Kodaka caught the punch like a G! Oh man, then Kodaka showed his concern through anger something Sena clearly isn't used to. She is definitely(as Bambi would put it) twitterpated. Then

Then the end shows Kodaka remembering a friend from back before, when he was bullied. This person became Kodaka's best friend. When Kodaka repeats a phrase the old friend had once told Kodaka, Yozora is startled asking if Kodaka had remembered....... KODAKA YOU DENSE BAST*RD!! That "DUDE" is Yozora your soul mate. Well we'll see what happens! A great week.
